Moving in
After only 3 days of searching I settled on a property to live in and spent this weekend moving in. The house is quite modest, though I have the largest room in the house so space is no issue for me. I'm living in Tyesely which isn't too far from the city centre; I've already found the bus which bus gets me there. The other house mates are nice from what I've seen but I do still have two more to meet. Interestingly I'm joining 3 other Dan's, meaning 4/6 house mates share this name, and yeah, its already confusing! My drive to work was far more relaxing than my usual M54, M6, M5 trek and was completed in around 30 minutes which isn't bad for a Monday morning.
For now I'm still finding my feet. I need to locate a supermarket and find my way in the city. Its pretty daunting moving down here without knowing a single person, but there is plenty to do. Tomorrow night I'll be in Redditch for a PHPWM social meeting and the week after that I've got another networking-type meetup with the SBLUG . If anyone has suggestions for groups/meetings that I might be interested in please don't hesitate to get in touch
