This isn't exactly relevent to me, but I definetly want to encourage this sort of thing, so here's a post that might go some way to helping get this off the ground.

Taking a tried and tested model from Birmingham, Simon Howes is currently championing a digital revolution in the Black Country, with sites such as Created in the Black Country and now with a Black Country Social Media Cafe. No doubt this will take a similar format to that of Birmingham's, and whether it has legs is still to be proven. I do however think its a great step towards extending Birmingham's dominance as the UK's social media hotspot beyond the city and to the entire region. Good work Simon!
